Environment Artist

It is I, Adam Garland, who hails from the spacious lands of Canada and have travelled and seen it from one glorious coast to the other. Now I wield the knowledge of these great environments to build Old World’s coasts, rivers, and mountains.

Growing up, I was always drawn to the arts, preferring pencils and paints to the mere toys of a child. I started experimenting on computers with the Commodore 64 and then the Amiga, learning to code so I could create digital art and modify games.

During my studies at Capilano University, I studied 3D digital art and stayed on to train future artists while honing my own skills. After creating a Pharaoh’s Lock, I spent some time at Autodesk training other artists in the way of Maya.

After joining the Mohawk team, I sculpted every coast, built mines and quarries and cities, and ensured every detail was carefully placed and taken straight from history.
